What is Onakite
Unakite is an igneous rock that is mainly composed of pink orthoclase feldspar, greenish-yellow epidote, gray or grayish quartz and small amounts of magnetite, chromite, ilmenite, apatite, zircon and other minerals
Another name for this granite is epidote. Onakite stone is found from the fall of glaciers into the water and its transfer to rivers and lakes, that’s why most of it is extracted from riverbeds and along the coasts
Unakite stone consists of deformed red jade and green epidote, which are firmly attached to each other, resulting in the beautiful pistachio nut pink and green coloring.
